Default PLEAse Please Please - ?? 2.7T be installed in B6/7

i have joined so many forums looking for this answer...

can you drop the 2.7 bi turbo in any B6or B7

obviously want the new body style but keeping the six cylinders...

also has anyone seen any sequential turbo setups with links?

Haven't seen it. Just buy a B5. It's not a 'drop in' situation anyway. Transmission too...probably a million differences.

Want forced induction on a B6/7? Just buy a JHM supercharger for $8500. Make 400whp with just exhaust to support it.

There is no real answer to that question, but yes, you can fit a 2.7TT into a 6/7 engine bay. Much like when I once put a Dodge 440 into an '81 Challenger, ya google that car. Sakimano's right though, lot's of changes to consider, both mechanical and electrical. I'd recommend the new S4 if you want a V6.

Straight up, Thanks guys... every forum I have been flamed just for asking the question. So i appreciate the responses...
I figured electrical would be not only the ecu but obviously some harnesses...
"Dog"... Thanks for the response... The reason why i havent looked into the NEW s4 is just because of price... I honestly couldnt afford the drop on a 6/7 yet either.
But my plan is for down the road, and to just really do the research right on the project.

Right now i have other things i need to work on, out of debt, family buy a house... But once I am in the position to be able to do something like this i REALLY wanna do it...

But also when I do it i wanna do a complete build. Body motor everything...Put a built 2.7 in... obviously internals... and drop in two aftermarket turbos...
Im runing a gt28rs on my passat right now, 25 daily... and really like it... so considering maybe something like that....
Obviously it wouldnt be a daily driver.. at best a weekend car... Just have fallen in love with the body lines and the motor.

And in answer to sakimano... the only reason why i dont want the 8 and the super charger is just because i have never been a huge fan. I hated when the m3 switched to the 8 cylinders instead of the straight six and i think ever since then i promised to not go above six...Childish i Know...

bigger is better (all else being equal)

there's no replacement for displacement

yada yada

p.s. get a B5...clean it up nice...and get a VAST GT600/700 kit for $7000 (ALL HARDWARE) + do the build. Might be $30,000 all in...but it will be one bad mthrfkr!
