Hey There,

I just picked up a 2001 B5 S4 Avant with a manual transmission. It is essentially bone stock except for a chip and some 18" RS4 rims I just put on. I am looking to tune this vehicle - possibly go as far as a stage III. I am looking for a good/honest mechanic/tuner to work on my car. I live in the Oakville area.

Also, I think I am going to put some Bilstein PSS9s on the car (with Neuspeed swaybars) as my first mod. Any suggestions on where to get these. I spoke with essex distributors out west...they can ship.

I am also going to change the diverters, maybe go to silicone hoses, and add a drive train stabilizer.

I will try to take some pics tomorrow. I bought it from Seattle. It was going to be an Achtuning project car. It is in super good condition.

 

H2Sport in Guelph (APR Dealer) or Four Star Motorsports in Georgetown (they run an Audi Quattro A2 group B rally car) neither shouldn't be too far from Oakville.

I just got some AWE downpipes/exhaust and some PSS-9's. I can't wait to put them in! Was thinking of getting some Hotchkis Swaybars. Any opinions?

cross the border and drive to the VAST over in MI.

See if you find a way to spend a couple of days there... or just drop the car off and pick it up later.

Worth the drive imo. hear nothing about good things, and among the b5 s4 community, no one does it better. Also the CAD to USD conversion makes up for the drive.

 

Hey, if you're close to the Timmy's by Dundas & 403, I'd love to meet up and take a look at the Avant. I can PM you my number if you'd like. I drive a Santorin B5 S4. Also, were you at that Timmy's a few days ago picking up your exhaust or something? Couple of friends spotted an avant and sent me a picture laughing about how mine was in the shop....bastards!
