Question How many KM do you have on your 2000 B5 odometer?

Hey guys
I'm getting a great deal on a 2000 B5 s4, basically buying it off family for $8k. However, it has 200 000 on the odo...
I currently own a 2003 vw 1.8t so know quiete a bit about german engines, their problems, the electrical problems etc, and have a registered version of vag com to diagnose anything that comes up.

My question is, do any of you guys have 240 000 + on the odo? If so, how does she drive?
Also, how often do you do oil changes on the s4? What are the reccomended intervals? What is your ave city/highway/mixed mpg? Or better yet L/100km

I guess first few things to change would be:
timing belt/pump etc
coils
spark plugs
ECT from stock to green (?)((correct me on this if wrong))
Throw in a KnN air filter.
swap oil.

Car drives "OK", but not what i expected from a 250hp bi-turbo motor. It heistates and feels a lil under powered. Right now the 1.8t is stage 2 with a fmic and is very light compared to the s4, so this may have something to do with my "butt dyno" giving me faulse readings...

I wouldn't say $8's is a great deal for a high km s4 needing work.
For comparison I paid $7000 for a 2000 s4 with 190k with all service
upto date.

I bought my 2000 S4 for $10,000 BUT it had upgraded brakes, front end intercooler, upgraded exhaust system, chipped, blowoff valve, new rubber, short throw shifter, adjustable suspension, ETC .... with only 150,000Km.

I agree with buds saying that $8000 is not a good deal.

To check how many litres you get per 100Km all you have to do is check your cluster ... it shows a display and all you have to do it scan through that.
I change my oil every 4000Km and all I do is highway drive. When you say the car runs "OK" I can olny assume that there is some engine knocking or something in that region. I would change the oil every 3000Km if you want to get the most out of the engine.

I paid 9K for my 2000 S4 with 193,000. It had a new T-belt, brakes ect. mostly stock.. Have 230K now and runs like a dream... with the exception of a new coolant overflow tank ($55 bucks from audi) and a little DIY (15 minutes). I also changed the BOV's with a pair from an Audi TT... another 30 minute investment and all is good!

Cheers
