Front License Plate holder (not frame)

Front License Plate holder (not frame)
I did a search and didn't find anything on this topic.
I recently imported a 2007 RS4 from the US and it appears that WI state does not require front license plates....unfortunately BC does.
The front bumper is absolutely clean....no holes or mounting brackets of any kind. I'm trying to figure out how to mount a license plate on the front.
I asked a local dealer, and they quoted me $150 for the plastic holder that goes behind the plate. They don't have one in stock so I haven't actually seen it. They sent a pic of one with the plate already installed so it's hard to make out what the holder actually looks like and how it installs (it looks like it screws into the matte plastic panel in the middle of the front bumper)
Apparently, Schucks, Lordco, etc. sell universal mounting brackets for front license plates. Has anybody installed a front license plate using a universal bracket on their late model Audi? $150 isn't very much to spend for an accessory on a car like this, but I'd kick myself if I could get the exact same result for $20....and not have to drive an hour return to get it.

If I hadn't already bought the blank filler plate I would have traded you. That being said I can sell you the one you need from my car. If not, have a look at the pic and make sure that is the one the dealer is selling you for $150.
If you are interested in buying mine, PM me and we'll get in touch via email or the phone.
Tony
P.S. The picture was taken the day after it rained. There are no scratches on it anywhere.
