I'm picking up an '06 S4 Avant this evening and I'm wondering if I should get an extended warranty. The factory warranty is good till September '09 and the car currently has 16,500 km's on it. I'm buying it from a Nissan dealer so I'm a little weary of the warranty the will sell me although they say I can take it to any Audi dealer for service. Have you guys had much problems with your S4's in the first 60,000-100,000 km's?

Make sure you know exactly what the warranty covers!!! I would personally get it if it covered some maintenance and hassle free replacement parts for things that do go wrong. Most of the warranties out there dont even cover more then half of the stuff. I would really look into it! One thing though, if the manufacturer warranty is still on the car you can go directly to Audi and purchese them from your dealer. I would call them up first and set up an appointment with both and compare the rates and the coverages!
