DEFINITELY the same issue. Seems nobody knows how to bore wheels out anymore.

Bought in the group buy on AZ last summer...dealer for VMR in Toronto. I don't want to name names until he says '**** you' or 'i'm not going to help you'.

giving him the benefit of the doubt.

seems VMR sucks at correspondance, and they have had pretty serious staff turnover.

Ontario distributor who i bought from just jabbed them for a reply a couple more times. Taking forever.

In early 2009 when the B8 cars started wanting VMR wheels, they had no B8 fitment, so they'd sell you B5.6.7 wheels and bore them out for you to B8 fitment. They had so many (PLENTY) sets overbored with people suffering vibrations that they cancelled the bore out to B8 bore thing and said 'until we have wheels CAST at the factory (in China) for B8 fitment we won't be selling B8 fitment V708/V710 wheels'

that was them basically admitting that their process was flawed.

at this point (with wheels over-bored by say 1 mm) I think the only solution would be to have another shop bore them out even BIGGER, then run an adaptor to the 66.Xmm B8 fitment. Of course we have to hope that there IS a standard that is bigger than 66 and there is an adapter available. What a pain in the ***. It's embarassing to go over 110kmh if you have passengers in the car because of the vibration.
