Default B5 S4 tiptronic vs manual

Is there much performance difference between the auto and manual B5 S4?
Personally I prefer the stick but if a good deal comes about on a tiptronic I might go that route.

If one was to go Stage I+, would the auto transmission handle it?

I was a diehard manual tranny guy until i got this S4 with tiptronic, and I'm actually quite enjoying it.

Me too. Have you re-coded your tranny yet (00032) for the sport mode?
