Default All veterans of s line's click here

Thank you for opening my thread. I have a important question. I just took my s4 out for a midnight boot on the highway. The car drives so nice and fast without even trying. Anyways, I kept the car at high revs for a while tonight and when I took the off ramp and came to a stop light, I noticed that my exhaust note was MUCH more throaty and every time I would rev the engine (Even during idle) the car would vibrate from the engine and even on my gear shift ****. I notice that the car only does this when the revs stay high for a while or when I drive the car hard. Anybody have experience with this b4? Is it a serious issue? Thanks!

ps
I dont know if this helps but there is NO check engine light on or n e thing and once before this has happend and after the car cooled down it didnt make this throaty noise and vibrate so much...

yes, v8

I'm taking it into the shop tomorrow just to be safe. I will keep the board updated for other members future reference.

Well I took it into the shop and it was a 3k dollar repair. List goes something like this.

Dual mass flywheel
clutch
clutch pressure plate
slave cylinder, etc.
12 hrs labour
=
3 grand all together

But now It drives like day 1 though so I am happy.
