I was driving yesterday on a pretty straight road and i had a buddy in the car i hadn't seen in a while so he was wondering how much power my B6 S4 had. So i hit it and hit about 6 grand in second, 6 in third, not taccing out on purpose cause i know that its worse than what i'm already doing to her. But that was about it, well there was a red light up ahead and i tried to down shift, well i then realized that when i pressed in on the clutch it wouldn't go into ANY GEAR! I got really confused having not encountered the problem before and did whatever i could to get it into gear to get moving out of the way after the light turned green. I eventually got it into second and then forced my way into first. Now i get the hydraulic feel for the clutch kinda, but its not smooth. Some parts its stiff, some really loose, after u get it down about a quarter of the way it gets very soft. I got it home, but it was catching gears at the very top of where the clutch pedal can be released to. Anyone whose driven an audi manual knows that its about half way up it begins to catch, and i'm saying it didn't catch til i was almost ALLL the way up. And when it did catch it wasn't very strong of a grab, when i barely hit the pedal down more than normal it started slipping really bad. I checked brake fluid reservoir and its pretty much topped off. Can anyone tell me where to find the clutch master and slave cylinders, and how to figure out what the problem is? Does anybody have any ideas? PLZ HELP ME!
