I recently purchased a JHM tune along with a flashing cable. I live in the Calgary area (Canmore) and would like to offer the cable up for rent to help others save on the cost of the cable and also help me recoup some of the cost!

I'm also willing to look at shipping the cable to renters within Canada if you're interested.

And for anyone who's interested, a reliable enthusiast dynoed his car today with the JHM stage 1 tune.

Quite impressive numbers for Stage 1 B7 A4 2.0t and 91 octane: 230.3 whp and 298.5 torque! Stage 2 with 91 octane is supposed to be even better...

It's also worth noting that the dyno was done at altitude in Denver, similar to Calgary. Obviously with more air at sea level, the numbers would even be slightly better than these.

His only major performance mod that this person had that would have contributed to the whp and torque output is a FMIC.

 

Depending on tax return I might be borrowing/renting the cable. Please PM me with details. Sweini in Ontario might be close though.

After the tune is done, we no longer need that cable?
I will be ready soon to rent that cable, my stage 2 hardware are installed !

 

Correct, there's not much use for the cable once the tune is installed. Only reason I am hanging on to mine is that I want to be able to remove the tune should I ever need to take my car into the dealer for warranty work. (Only one more year of warranty left but wanted to play it safe.)

Just let me know when you'll need the cable!

 

Bump! With the way the US dollar is going, the cost of a tune is hard enough to swallow let alone the cost of the cable.

Spring isn't far off, dry roads = time to get a tune!
