i know the pictures are 255/35/18 cuz my car is a RWD sp staggered setup. I just took the picture to show the thread. i'm selling my front 2. which is 235/40/18

Re: P-zeros 18 for sell staggered set up
prob rubbing issue?
cuz I had 255/35/19 in the rear and had rubbing issue
38 was the offset, but i machined it down to 35, but still rubbing
may be itz because 19"...i donno
do you have pics?

Re: P-zeros 18 for sell staggered set up
you had the right idea with the offest.. if you were running 18s. 19s with the same aspect ratio will have a larger over all diameter which will cause rubbing issues.
here's the formula
255/35/R19
255 = w
35 = ar
19 = d
overall diameter = D
D = d + 2(w(ar/100))
D = 19in + 2(255mm(35/100)
D = 26in
if you were running 18s...
D = 25in
here's the formula
255/35/R19
255 = w
35 = ar
19 = d
overall diameter = D
D = d + 2(w(ar/100))
D = 19in + 2(255mm(35/100)
D = 26in
if you were running 18s...
D = 25in

Can't say that I know that for certain. see similar thread:

Re: P-zeros 18 for sell staggered set up
I just want to clarify....a 235/40/18 has a circumference of 79.8 and the 255/35/18 has a circumference of 78.6. Can we run a set up with quattro where front and rear tires are different rolling circumferences without screwing it up? My A6 rolls on 245's so I'm not worried about 255's rubbing.

Oh sorry I had a brain fart there.
No... by no I mean, not a good Idea on Quattro cars. The only way you can run a staggered setup on our cars is if the overall diameters, front and back, are the same.
Quattro is a mechanical awd system that makes all of your wheels spin at the same rpm. Therefore, if you have different diameters on your tires, the tangential velocities will be different, causing the front and back tires to be out of sync.
