i'm about to pick up a used '03 A4 1.8TQ, but the tires will need to be replaced. the wear bars on the rubber are starting to show.

i'm thinking about perhaps throwing winters on the stock 16" alloys and getting another set of summer / all-seasons with rims.

does anyone have a package they want to unload? at this point, i'm just looking for something to ride out the season with. so if you've got your 16" or 17" stockers sitting around and they still have a season's worth of rubber on them please let me know.

but, if you've got another package sitting around, let me know too. not too keen on the bigger rims that would require lowering the car though; that's the only thing.

ps... prefer to deal locally in toronto. i'd like to spend as little time as possible on the current rubber. balding tires + rainy days = not so much fun... even with quattro

 

hey i have the multispoke sport rims in 17s. The rubber in the front is Yokohama and the back is pirelli. 235/45/17. Give me your best offer for the set.

 

i think i'll take a miss. since the car will have quattro, i don't think it makes sense to mix and match rubber.
