Good question. The Controltac liner is commonly seen in 3M 2mil 180C cast vinyl, used for digital printing/fleet graphic and vehicle wraps. Both 180C and Dinoc have the same comply performance feature which makes installation friendly. Dinoc is much thicker and has a complete flat/matte finish whereas 180C is semi and hi-gloss. Here are a few pics of 3M Dinoc Aluminum brushed, you can see the backliner is completely different with grid lines and 3M logos.
