- No sludge at all!

The AMU block has 20mm wrist pins vs. 19mm on most 1.8Ts; and, that's important because the rods are the 'weak' link in all 1.8Ts. The 225 TT blocks also have additional ribbing on for increased strength.

If someone wants to spring for a new gasket set, I'll replace the headgasket, and everything else, for free. This is something I definitely recommend considering the low cost. I'm also willing to re-ring the pistons, or even upgrade the rods if someone is looking t o build the engine. The AMU is fine for 500wHP with just a $400 set of rods.

I'm open to possibly selling with the following:

- ECU with Unitronic Stage 2 (can be Immo-defeated for use in other cars).
- Intake manifold
- Dual-mount IC setup
- Exhaust manifold and turbo
- OEM Downpipe

The AMU goes for ~$2,000 on Car-Part for an unknown condition motor, with an engine-bay fire - LOL! I'd be happy with $1500.
