Engine 1.8T needed
Hey folks,
I need an engine for my 2000 1.8T quatto Avant, automatic. Prefer an engine with all accessories i.e. not just the bare bone block. Does not have to have alternator or plastic parts, injectors or wiring but needs to have the turbo on it; exhaust manifold can be an option.
Mileage not important but should not be an oil eater or next to dying!
SELLER must be prepared to ship the engine to Halifax crated and secured!
When writing back please include details and FINAL price. Payment can be made through Paypal or direct deposit - only after receiving Seller's full address and shipping info. Got burned now twice by real "good" guys - really sucks not being able to trust - but....life!
Nearly forgot - need also for my other 1996 1.8t, 5 speed, front wheel drive, a turbo!

Its a shop in Almonte, Ontario that Specilizes in Audi/VW/Porsche/BMW.
He has a fully rebuilt 1.8T and I think only wants like $800 for it.

Yes, He still has the engine for sale. Includes everything including Turbo, wiring ect.
If you want you can call me 613-866-0668 and I can ship it, and everything.
I noticed you live In Halifax, Shipping wouldnt be a problem. we might have a few common friends out there too!

very nice to respond so fast. I live in Halifax BUT at the time of writing - in the Philippines and returning on the 6th June. So, if we can make some sort of an arrangement next week, i.e. paying and then shipping - that would be great. I definitely buy the engine - hope it fits into my 2000 A4 Avant 1.8 turbo with tiptronic/Auto. If not, what has to be changed?
I will have only internet tomorrow - then Monday onwards.
Appreciate your help, and yes - Down East is small!
