I had H&R Sports on my B6 but I didn't like them on Toronto Roads. I guess I'm getting old.

I bought a used set of 1BE OE sport springs from a guy who upgraded his springs and I'm very happy with them paired up with Bilstein Touring Sport dampers. Not too harsh and decent ride height.

My two cents.

 

Right now I have H&R & blistein combo. I moved downtown and i find it low for downtown dd as the roads are a mess if you know what I mean

 

Yup. Downtown roads are crap and getting worse. I blame the damn streetcars.

That's why I just went to the stock sport (1BE) springs from normal 1BA springs.

 

I agree with you. Do you know where I can buy the sport setup other than the dealer in toronto?

 

I think I found mine from the classified on this site. Either that or on Kijiji.

Even if you can get them new at a dealer discount, it's still gonna cost you dearly because they're OE.

If you're in no hurry, check around the classifieds here and other Audi forums because there are a lot of enthusiasts out there that aren't happy with their OE sport suspension and want to slam their cars to the ground.

You're bound to find something sooner or later.

I have a used set of OEM B6 sport suspension. It came off my A4 USP 3.0L V6. Took them off at about 180K. Still in very good condition, just a bit dirty. They're just collecting dust and need a home. Let me know.

 

Hey I dont think that will work for my as mine is a 1.8t. If im not mistaking the fromt rating on the 1.8 and the v6 is diffrent at the front. But I could be wrong. Can you verify that?
