Thanks! Can't wait for the exhaust next week, and more mods by the end of the month. Hopefully, if all goes well, I'll have everything but the s/c by the end of the month.

New exhaust sounds fantastic. 29mm rear sway bar is a nice touch as well.

JHM tune will have to wait till September. Need the car too much at the moment. Can't leave it parked for one to two weeks. LWCP, short shifter, snub mount and new bulbs should be going in before the end of the month. Also need a new rear valance for the single tips. Leaning towards a B7 S-Line rear valance at the moment.

I'd consider a DSG, but I could never live with a slushbox. I think the only way I'd strongly consider switching to an S4 is if it were pre-modded and yellow or red; otherwise I'd likely just build a big-turbo B7 A4 2.0T.

yeah, a big turbo A4 would be fun, but everyone I know who had one sold it within a year of completing the build (and bought an S4 or RS4 for some reason)

Back to S4s, I'd sell mine for a fair price. It's nicely modded and moves pretty well.

What, sell yours.....Am I hearing you correctly? I remember on another forum you said you would never sell your S4.

Then again if the right price came up I would sell mine.

Yeah, I think most people get caught up in having an 11/12sec car and don't realize how much money, time, reliability, and drivability they have to give up to get that kind of performance out of a 2.0L car. As much as I love my car, there are days when I'd just like something quiet and smooth, easy to drive, and never worry about whatever needs fixing (which is pretty much always something ).

No silver for me, Saki If I switched, it would have to be the perfect conditions - pre-moded Avant, and Yellow/Red/Sprint Blue.

well, I don't think I said never! I would happily keep it for another 5 years though. The car has lost none of it's step, and is tight and sharp. Considering that you are now stuck with a V6 or I5 if you want a fun fast Audi, I like my car more every year.

If the right RS4 showed up, I'd grab it, as I think the car is just so special...and will be very interesting in 5-10 years considering how rare they are. An RS4 with piggies, stock catback and JHM tune would be badass and completely stealth as far as mods vs. warranty goes. Grab one, throw a 4-5 year warranty extension on it, and enjoy.
