Need recommendation for a new set of keys - 2000 A6 4.2

I recently bought a used 2000 A6 4.2 car.
Unfortunately it came with only one master key.
The local dealer quoted close to $500 for a new
set of keys which sounds quite expensive.
Any suggestion?

Find an automotive master locksmith, they should be able to clone some
duplicates, then find someone with the vagcom kit & have the missing keys
deactivated,
Steve.
