In my ´98 A4 Avant its located in the right side of the trunk, just behind
the right compartment-lid.

I'm in the middle of replacing my passenger door lock actuator. I located the actuator and managed to unplug the cable but that's as far as I can go. I did search and everyone said it should be self explanatory to remove it. But unfortunately, it's not also that obvious to me. I would just like to include guys, don't buy surplus. Not really good so better buy on trusted autoparts store or dealer.
