Audi A4 2000
Does anyone know where the relay for the turn indicator is on a 2000
UK spec A4 model?. I've found a list of fuses & their location in the
manual, but no mention of indicator relay. I'm assuming the relay
needs replacing, as the indicators work sometimes, but then stop for
no reason, sometime after one or two blinks, sometimes after several,
sometimes not at all. The hazards work fine.
Thanks,
Trish

I think it's part of the hazard switch in most current Audis.

Yup. Peter Bell is right - the turn signal/hazards relay is integrated with
the hazards button (red triangle) in the center console just below the
vents. So, you need to replace the whole thing (the relay and the button -
it's one box). And yes, your assumption is correct - from what you're
describing it's definitely this relay that should be replaced. It's a very
common issue, at least in the A4. I had mine replace just a few months
back.
Cheers,
