02 A4 quattro 1.8 turbo steering problems

02 A4 quattro 1.8 turbo steering problems
It started with a steering leak at the stearing rack,also intermittant
hard steering even with fluid full.I replaced rack(purchased rebuilt from
dealer so i would not have any problems,it cost over $700)bled system
properly and used proper hydraulic oil,now i have no power steering at
all.anyone have any tips?

Sounds like you got a bad rebuilt rack but there might be a bleeding procedure
in the shop manual that requires more than lock-to-lock.

Sounds like you got a bad rebuilt rack but there might be a bleeding procedure
in the shop manual that requires more than lock-to-lock.
