Default Anyone removed resonator off s4 v8?

Im looking for more sound from my b6 v8. Has anyone pulled the resonators off and if so how was the sound?

I have been told that the exhaust note will become raspy when just removing the resonator. you can do cats but then you'll have issues come time to do e-test.
you can always do custom exhaust like magnaflows or something.

well i live in montreal lol so no problems with e-tests right? looool i really dont know for the resonators though...
