Hi All:

I have a 2009 Audi A3 FWD for sale. DSG Automatic transmission; Sunroof; dual-zone climate control. Summer tires are 1 year old - NEW 17" WINTER TIRES PURCHASED NOVEMBER 2012 AS WELL. Upgraded built-in Pioneer Navigation system with bluetooth and i-pod connectivity. Kilometers are all rural highway kilometers driven while living 2 hours north of Toronto (1st brake job wasn't until 140,000km's - as per mechanic). Car has been maintained regularly and cared for - complete records available. Also includes Weathertech trunk liner.

There is a small worn area on driver side leather seat. Otherwise, the car is in excellent shape.

has the timing belt been done on this car? if so, when?

 

The car does not have a timing belt - it has a timing chain. The service manual says nothing about replacing the chain and I read on that it is a "lifetime" chain i.e. it doesn't need to be replaced at any sort of regular interval.

What is the reason for selling the car?

 

In short, I have bought a new vehicle. I don't drive the KM's I used to, so I have bought a gas-guzzling truck to haul around toys.
