What is a window pinch? Are you referring to when the windows go all the way up/down with just a push? My car does that if I press the windows to the second "click" quickly.

Also, is there a way to have the CD Player remain on after turning the car off without having to turn it on manually? I loved how my previous car would keep playing music until I opened the door!

I'd like to hear if anyone else has tried this on a 2.7t?

I "think" it did improve the responsiveness of the acceleration - especially when slowing down and then suddenly stepping on it. - but I need more convincing adn will try this again in a few months.

Ok - I trid the TBA again and it works. now I touch the gas peddle and I get a much quicker response, and mid range 40-100kmh I get much better response when I accelerate. This is a great tip and I will use it again and again.

Technically I'd like to understand why Throttle Body Alignment is required for the allroad - I've never heard of this before on other cars. Anyone got some insight to this? - thanks

I have answered this question already in a previous post I belive!
The window pinch is the regulation when you are shutting the window and have a hand in there it stops it from closing.

Glad it worked and glad I can help out! The reason for the throttle body is for fuel consumption and it memorizes your driving habits so it consumes less fuel this way. Basically when you reset it, it is without any memory so it starts over!

"it memorizes your driving habits" is called fuzzy logic. That is done within the ECM and TCM and doesn't really that much to do with throttle body adaptation. That adaptation is a "start and end" point. Fuzzy logic is intelligent programming that adjusts the engine management system, with transmission shift patterns according to the last driver. It is slightly adjustable by tapping the throttle pedal. In relative terms, it's block learn.

is another way to look at it but remember, that it's GM propaganda.

Thanks 1Move - I drive 95% in town and I definitely feel the response change over the weeks- so I use this TBA once every 4 weeks - I love it.

Is there a way to change the lights being used for the DRL? As in can the fog light/parking light combo be disabled and the high beams alone be used as DRLs?

No not without any rewiring. Why would you want your highbeams as DRL's? They are illegal to drive on within the city limits and you can get a ticket for it, at least here in town I have heard of some cases not a 100%

My truck now uses the highbeams, reduced power, as the DRL's.....and I have some some newer A4's with the same setup here in TO.
