It's been a while since I have been on this forum.
Since the last time my 2001 A6 Avant has role over 270,000 kms. I'm now looking at an A6 4.2 that has 180,000. The price seems good at 7300.

Since you guys were such a great resource in my last purchase, I was wondering if you could give me your thoughts on this model I would really appreciate it.

the only concern is the timing chain guides maybe need replacing and the tranny fluid.oh and the coil pack revisions. overall i own one and haven't had any major issues.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, the dealer has taken it to the auction.
