Before I bought my 2010 A6, I had VW Passat W8. It had zenon headlights on the outside and halogens in the middle just like my A6. However,when I went to high beam on the W8 it would also turn on the halogens which provided fantastic lighting. I've tried many VCDS settings but I've never been able to get this to work (I know that it's a simple setting with some Audi's but not this one). So, now I would like to make some wiring modifications to achieve the functionality. I had a look in the headlight area but man things are tight in there so I'm thinking that perhaps I can find a junction and make my modification there.

Anyone with experience doing this?
