Default 2000 A6 2.8 30V Quattro Sedan

No pics yet, and in person it's nothing spectacular to look at but it's a work in progress. I still like it a lot more than my A4 2.0T Avant. Here are a list of current modifications and the work in progress:

Upgrades:
Angel Eye HID Headlights
LED Front Foglights
LED Interior Lights
CCFL Rear Foglights
Painted Rear Calipers
Cross Drilled Rear Rotors
Real Carbon Fibre License Plate Frames
Tiptronic Sport Mode Recode

Issues:
Cam Chain Tensioners Leaking
Valve Covers Leaking
Passenger-Side Catalytic Converter Failing
Driver-Side Upper Control Arms Failing
Strange Noises During Hard Braking
Tire Wear

Repairs/Serviced In Last 12 Months
Timing Belt, Waterpump, Radiator, Thermostat, Lower Rad Hose, Coolant Flush, Tensioner Pulley $1600
CV Boots x 2 $550
Rear Axle Seal + Differential Seal $400
Transmission Service $200
ABS Module $300
Intake Manifold Coolant Line Leak $900

I'll be posting pics shortly once the weather brightens up. I'll also be posting detailed information on various upgrades and repair procedures that I've done. Cheers.

I just did the HID swap on my Avant and love it. Did the projections, High beams and fogs. What a world of difference. I had to re-aim them and love the change and did it for $225 for everything. 35W 6000K. I'm going to keep this baby stock. I bought it in Jan. and now I'm going to have to do a little work on the body. I just noticed that I had a couple of rust spots on the body. I thought that these cars had corrosion free panels. WTF.

$225 is a great deal. I replaced my fog lights with LED fog lights for $40, and combined with my Angel Eye HIDs they look fabulous. High beams are still halogen, the way that I like. Mine are also 6000K but I'm not sure on the wattage.

Not all the body panels are aluminum on the C5 A6. The hoods are aluminum on the 2.8 30V and 2.7T, while the 4.2 40V has aluminum fenders as well. Only the A8 and S8 have a completely aluminum structure. I have surface rust on some body panels as well, I'll probably get it all painted sometime in the future.
