Re: 2000 A6 2.8 30V Quattro Sedan
I just did the HID swap on my Avant and love it. Did the projections, High beams and fogs. What a world of difference. I had to re-aim them and love the change and did it for $225 for everything. 35W 6000K. I'm going to keep this baby stock. I bought it in Jan. and now I'm going to have to do a little work on the body. I just noticed that I had a couple of rust spots on the body. I thought that these cars had corrosion free panels. WTF.

Not all the body panels are aluminum on the C5 A6. The hoods are aluminum on the 2.8 30V and 2.7T, while the 4.2 40V has aluminum fenders as well. Only the A8 and S8 have a completely aluminum structure. I have surface rust on some body panels as well, I'll probably get it all painted sometime in the future. |
