Also, where do you figure out what the V.I.N. numbers stand for. For example number 4-8 of the V.I.N. code are used by Audi to signify different options. ANyone know which ones.??

On Audiworld you can get the pdfs that go thru each option package for each car in each year........

 

Or you can go to Audi.com and just add it to the new vehicle... not much has changed as for the vin # I have th basic reader not sure what it will give you. Whats the Vin #?

 

Start obtaining a copy of Bentley manual.

Be aware of some technical inaccuracies (plenty), but as a source of basic info is ok.

 

I have a hunch that s-line comes in years where there is no S model as such
Mine has a supplement in manual stating that it has 265hp not 250 and that it needs more engine oil
- Red S-line stickers on rear wheel wells
- 17" multi-spoke wheels (5)
- All seats are heated, driver has 3 driver memories
- All three mirrors are self-dimming, interior has a compass
- Integrated XM radio
- Bose sub-woofer in the passenger side panel in trunk
- Xenon lights
