I buyed an audi a6 2.7t 2001 yesterday and it have a really big vibration around 100-120 km/h, the seller said its because there is new mag 17 po and its normally 16 po but i dont think that's the problem, can you help me and say some tips to find what is the problem.

i think you should contact your service center and confirm the problems!!!

 

Could be a few issues. Start ticking them off

- Aftermarket Wheels. Do you have hub centering rings. If not, see if you need them
- Tires Unbalanced?
- How old and worn are the tires? Are they wearing evenly? Is there cupping on the tire?
- Bent wheel(s)?
- Wheels Aligned?
- How old is the suspension and steering. Is everything tight?
- Are the aftermarket wheel cheap? Could be a general problem with the wheel construction in manufacturing. That's why don't buy cheap wheels

 

Its wheels from audi a4 2011, but no hub centering rings but i dont think that's the problem because the vibrations are harder when i'm doing a lot of highway and it's almost gone when the engine is cold, and they are reduce when im accelerating, i just did a balancement an it's not working, i suspect the axles so i'm going to change them tomorrow. I'll let you know if it's gone.
