Figured it out. $25 DIY from Cdn Tire to the fogs only. Very straight forward, only needed to extend the power cable to reach the batterry, otherwise fit like a dream.

I have a better suggestion, try through the VAG-COM then goto coding & change the country code, if that wont work (only few models in 2001 & up) then take it to these guys here in town called Calgary Autoworks, they did it to a friends vehicle for $95 + Tax.
