whats the mileage? And anyone know what the differences are between the different V8's? (ABT, ART, AWN, etc...)
I just did a head gasket on a '95 C220. It was typical overcomplicated german. I was cursing at it the whole time. After that craptastic job, how difficult can it beon our V8's? The Merc. had variable valve timing and a timing chain driving DOHC. Why the hell did Audi wait 10 years to put chains in their engines?
Also, how much are people paying to change their timing belts?

my a6 has the art engine yet is an abt - from what i hear..abt is a custom tuning company similar to saleen is to ford.
my timing belt was about 1500$
