I got a code for EGT, it doesn't kick the check engine light. My car is chipped and have 'piggies'. So I don't have an issue of destroying the cats. I will replace the EGT sensor eventually, but for both sensors it almost $500 bucks, just for parts. Right now I just drive the car back and to work, which is 5km from my house.
But they should be replaced so the car runs perfect. I plan to do it when summer comes along.
