Just looking for opinions and experiences. What do you think the best wheel/tire combo size is on C5 A6. I have run 235/40/18 on 8" wheel, 235/40/18 X 245/30/18 staggered, 245/40/19 all around. I think the 19's filled the arches the best, but I like the handling from the 18's.

 

Hey, I'm quite new to the Audi world too. I have an 03 A6 3.0. Bought wheels for it with 255/35/18 all around. They run fine, but I need to fill out the arches somehow, so I was thinking of running with 245/40/18. The fronts with the 255 stick out wider than I would like, but the rears are fine.

Was wondering about the staggered setup. Are there any precautions to take? I'm afraid of tripping the ABS since I'm guessing the wheels will be rotating at different rpms. Just wondering if you could shed some light since you've done staggered.

 

I have 235/35/19 in front and 245/40/19 in the rear

 

How do you find the handling, when I put 19's on with 235's I found that the ride was quite rough.

 

Have 235/40/18 all around and I find the handling better, of course. A bit of my surprise, the ride was not sacrificed, coming from a 235/45/17. Excellent choice.

 

The ride is a little rough with 19s but the car looks good with 19s. Not to big and not to small.
