Hi, This is my first post here on the Audi Forum.
I picked up my 2012 A4 3 weeks ago and i'm loving it.

i just had a few questions i'm hoping someone can answer

AMI USB cable
On Amazon.com they list three different AMI/USB cables, does anyone know which one works with the 2012 A4? I'm trying to find the part number from audi's website but i couldn't find it.

Tint
I tinted my windows (35% all around) and I'm wondering if prior models also had problems with the defrost lines in the back. (I just had my car tinted on Friday (2 days ago) so i know i have to give it some time to set)




I'm comparing it to a tint in another thread and i don't see the defrost lines..

Cleaning the RIMS
So what's the recommended solution for cleaning the rims? What are other people using? There is a lot of brake dust.

the brake dust subsides after the first few weeks. I put Turtle Wax on the rims to keep the dust from sticking. For cleaning I use meguiars (i think its a green fluid).

I saw your other post - autolinks did my car and there are some air bubbles along the lines. dont' think theres much you can do about them.

You may want to check and make sure your doors still open from the inside. I did my car in April and the interior door pulls got disconnected. Had to go back twice as the cable fell off at differnt times (I dont have an issue with the fronts as I use them all the time)

I didn't think about checking the doors from the inside lol, i'll do that.
Is it possible to post a closeup picture of the rear window? At FX Auto they precut each area as well, but they did not tint over the defrost lines.

For the cleaning of the rims, i'm thinking of picking up a long rim brush to reach the hard to reach areas, do you use anything?
