Hi,
I am planning to buy a 2010 Audi A4. This is a CPO and has 30k kms on it. The car record indicates the Piston rings are replaced. I am hesitant to buy this as it says Engine repaired Piston rings replaced.

Is it ok to buy this car? This car has been sitting in dealer for a month and dealer is ready to give me a good deal. Please help me with some comments/opinions.

Piston Ring Replacement

 

I just bought an A4 from the same dealership they mention in Montreal. I have it for about 1.5 weeks and have burnt through a quart of oil.

I can see with minimal nagging, I can get this fix done. But by looking at some of the pics of how they had to take the engine and things apart. Can I expect my Audi to feel the same once everything is put back together?

The reason I ask is because something that complicated taken apart would require some very skilled and patient mechanics to put it back together properly, or so I would think?
