sorry to hear. But this is why I dont have an aftermarket deck or GPS.
OEM GPS as they would need some radio removal keys on hand and the radio code to make it work.
Mainly the code already serves a lot of protection

Sometimes there's no rhyme or reason. Several years ago some loser stole my Dad's Sundance right out of the driveway. The question I had to ask was "why a crappy sundance?" But that was in Rexdale where we had to lock up everything all the time.
He got it back, but with some light damage. Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Pretty much sucks.
