I'm also new to Audis. I have just bought a 2008 Audi a4 Quattro and its the first car I've owned with a computer. Specifically the Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
My question is can I adjust the tire pressure higher than the recommended and is there any other things I have to do - computer wise. How about if I adjust the pressure to factory recommended.
I had my windows tinted and after I drove away the Tire Warning Icon appeared on the dash. After I started it twice, the warning icon disappeared.
Is this normal? I need to know the proper method for adjusting the tire pressure- mainly the computer part and anything I need to do. Thanks.

How about the computer in the a4. Do I ever have to mess with it?
Or can I just ignore it. I'm new to Audi and have just purchased a 2008 Audi A4 Quattro in Black.
