Smile Help with my new A4 B8

Hey guys,

As you can see, I'm brand new to these forums and I'm excited to be a part of them both because of becoming part of a great community as well as I just got my 2011 Audi A4.

That being said I'd like to see what kind of input you guys have on the following topics as well as suggestions.

First off - About me:

Name: Karsen Hansen

From: Danmark EUR

Currently: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Car: 2011 Audi A4
(Brilliant Red)

KEEP IN MIND: I'm trying to go for a Black and Red color combination

Lights:

I was taking a look through the forums a few minutes ago and saw a post regarding something that I've been questioning and thinking about on my own.

I wanted to install LED Strip headlights somewhat similar to the R8 style head lamps.

Any idea on the product that is right for me?

Rims:

As I stated above, I'm going for a black/red color combination and I personally think Jet Black rims on a red car look stunning however I've been told that black rims look "dirty". I don't think this is the case.

Any idea on rims or manufacturer of rims that I could take a look at. Here is a video of an amazing style of rims that I've come across.

URL: Will be posted as soon as I have enough posts! Haha.

Exhaust:

I had an exhaust in mind - A Magnaflow Cat Back however I'm not so sure and not so savy with exhausts. I've heard Magnaflow's on several different cars and I just love that droning noise they make.

I don't understand much about exhaust but I'm looking to upgrade to not a loud one however one with somewhat of a drone to it.

Tints:

I think I'll be getting 15% tints on all windows

I had a question regarding AS1 - I looked up the window tinting laws in various states, I'm in FL and the law says that front sides are to be 28% (I don't think they'll notice 10% difference and pull me over for it however correct me if I'm wrong) and 15% in the back and AS1 for the visor? I don't understand what this means.

Body Kit:

This, if I decide to carry through with it, will come much later. I was thinking of installing the Rieger B8 Body Kit which will set me back 1.6K, I've already spoken with the folks at Rieger and they gave me a quote on the full body kit for my B8.

Thanks for reading through! Once again, I'm glad to be apart of the community and talking with you guys!

-Karsen

The car looks amazing as it is without the body kit. If you are considering mods go for tune first, then exhaust, intake, and perhaps turbo. But wait its a 2011 right. I would just tune it right now and enjoy.

Use Stasis parts, they don't void the factory warranty.

Don't '11 A4's have LED lights or were they optional? If so, get the OEM ones.

Black wheels do tend to look dirty if you're not diligent about cleaning them often.

Thanks guys for the responses!

@Mikeh Yeah I'll most likely stick with the current body style the car has now, It's beautiful and don't want to touch that. And hmmm I'll look more into that tuning.

@Ps7 I'll go take a look at Stasis parts right now - do they have an official website? If so I'll probably find it in a moment :P

@Tim$2 My 2011 doesn't have the Strip LED's that I'm looking for much like 2011 S4 has.
