Just wondering how much better is the B&O upgrade for B8 A4.

Does it have more settings to play with? Extra speakers, subwoofer???

For those of you upgraded to B&O, mind to share your experience?

it's alright when you're looking at it or listening to it on a test drive. But when you're sitting in traffic, you sure glad that you got that upgrade.

 

Best sound system in a car I've heard to date. Better than my home theatre setup or my 500$ earphones.

 

a must have package - it's well worth the money! i have it and i can tell you i never heard something that sounds better - in a car...

 

If you are going for a 09 A4 you have to have this upgrade. Without a doubt.

 

I think the other reason this system sounded amazing is the silence in the cabin, no matter what speed. Gotta love Audi.

 

Funny. The dealer had the car I wanted in stock but it had the B&O option. I had him find me a similar car with no B&O. I couldn't see myself spending 1000$ for a car stereo. I gladly paid 1800$ for the sport pack though.. Personally, I'd rather focus and enjoy the driving than the music. I'm sure that it must sound better but then again I don't really give a damn about that as long as the stock one is "good enough"


(Well, I still haven't received the $@!# car due to dealer issues so don't know if I regret it yet...)

 

You didn't find the noise of the wind hitting the side mirrors loud? They've apparently redesigned them for 2010 due to that.

 

Go pick up a copy of consumer reports. There's the dealer invoiced price and the MSRP. Haggle in the barganing zone...I do believe there is quite a markup...
