Hi there, I am in the market for a 2010 Audi A4 or Acura TSX. I do a lot of winter driving which is why I am opting for the A4 Quattro but I have had Acuras in the past and they are extremely reliable. Do Audi's get expensive and have breakdowns like BMW and Volkswagon, I know several people who own VWs and they are terrible and BMWs are just flat out expensive. What are people's longterm experience with A4s? Thx.

 

Treat them right, they will treat your pocket right. Dont wait till they break down to fix. You are getting into a Luxury car along the same lines as a BMW, I dont know why you are thinking that BMW is more expensive then Audi though? Same ball game IMO

 

As far as maintenance goes, the Audi is more costly than a BMW. Audi's will have problems that other cars simply don't have. But the Audi is beautiful and I'd still take one over an Acura. If you want something as nice as the Audi with Japanese reliability what about a Lexus IS250 AWD?

I'm not gonna lie, till this day i miss my Subaru .
Check out Impreza WRX STi its going to cost as much as audi or even a little less. Everyone admires a WRX and specially an STI. Its pretty nice inside, awd and its japanese. PArts are a littel more expensive in comaprison to honda and acutra but not a lot. Nothing compare to audi.
Subaru is reliable as hell! they can last pt to 400 km with right care i have seen 500 km and so on its pretty ridiculous (all in thousands). Also make sure you look at 2002-2006 years, sedan version. thouse are the nicest in my opinion

I still love my Audi hella lot, but its blody expensive when **** hits the fan.

 

Dude. I had an 04 WRX and I absolutly loved it. I always drove Bimmers and Audi's but the WRX was way more fun. But now I have a kid, so no STI... just an A4......

 

I took down a pole with mine so cant afford insurance anymore on those. I think I rember you had one from the sound insulation in audi Thread ?
