2013 a4 vs 2012 a4

HI ALL ~ I'm new to this forum and I'm deciding to buy the 2012 a4 or the 2013 a4.

I would be purchasing it in 6-speed manual.

I believe the 2013 a4 is coming out at summer 2012 toronto?

I would love to hear some advice...

PS (the 1.9% rates that just started for March 2012 is pretty nice but not sure what the rates would be for the 2013 a4)

THANKS SO MUCH!

I debated with the same question for a while too.
Just picked up my 2012 last week. I couldn't wait:) Plus I was told there was a posibility that there would be no SLine offered with the facelift and I definatley wanted an SLine. Not sure if this is 100% but it was mentioned. I like the new look of the A6's but not a fan of the front end on the new A4. Looks a little squished and less beefy. But that's just my opinion.

i went with the 2012 as well. opportunity came up at the dealership to trade in and a fair price on it too so i jumped on the 2012.

I just went ahead with the 2012 a4 in white. I wasn't a big fan of the 2013 led lights and im pretty sure the 2013 a4 wont have as low of an interest rate as the 2012 one they're currently offering when it comes out.

just signed today for a black/black A4 6spd MT (picking up thursday at downtown audi). Interest rate is 1.9%, got the maintenance, etc. Pretty basic quattro with just LED lights, just over $600 pm taxes in. Interest rate on the 2013 will probably still be reasonable, but even if it's 1% higher it would add ~ $1500-$2500 (plus or minus) to cost of car.

I was a BMW guy for about 10 years, a nissan old fart for 3 years, and now im into the Audi for what it was costing me for my Nissan (insurance is $90 more per year).

FYI, just came across the 2013 order guide.

Changes:
- Premium now comes with Navigation, Advanced Key, Colour DIS standard with no increase in price compared to 2012 (comes with new 18" 5 twin spoke wheel)
- Premium+ comes with Parking System, B&O standard with no change in price
- S-Line offered as a 3400 upgrade for Premium and Premium+, no change in content compared to 2012

Pretty good deal if you ask me!

interest rate for 2013 A4 is 4.9% finance for 60 months and 5.4 % leasing for 48 months.
All dealers have limited 2012 inventory.

Glad to see others had similar opinion to me!
Picked up mine last week - White 2012 A4 6-speed Quattro.

Don't like the look of the 2013 front end - small step back in my opinion!
----------------------------------------------

Should note that I have been holding on for the redesigned A3 - new exterior looks good but without the manual quattro version coming to NA, it was no longer an option for me.

Let's not forget 2013 front and rear lights are changing and 2013 is getting Google maps and hot spot and few minor interior mods. That's the only diff.

Google maps not compatible in Canada.

I just did the same thing. I also prefer the 2012 lights.
