Just a niggly question. I took a new B8 out for a test drive and forgot to check:

Do the side mirrors on the B8 have the power fold-in feature as per my B7?

They don't fold.

 

Not at all or just not powered?

When I am downtown or parking anywhere for any length of time, I automatically by habit fold in the mirrors.

 

Only manually.

 

Sorry to keep harping on this but somewhere I read that if you have the MMI you can program the mirrors to fold within the Car/Locking option.

 

Doesn't it depend on the options you have? Not all B7's have the feature either.

Hello guys. Just got an Audi A4 Avant Prestige 2010 (imported from USA). When i put the transmission on reverse, the passenger mirror tilt but not the driver's mirror. It is normal?

 

If you have your mirror adjustment **** set to the passenger side your mirror will tilt when reversing. It usually helps you backing into a parking spot to see the line or curb.
If you don't want this feature turn your adjust **** to the drivers side.

Thanks egalley but is it normal that the driver's mirror doesn't tilt when the **** is set to the passenger side? It only applies to the passenger's mirror?
