Hi Guys,

I'm sure theres a post about this already but my browser at work is super old and searching anything sucks big time. What would you recommend are the best overall spark plugs for my stock B7 2.0T Quattro?

 

I believe the OEM plugs were Bosch. I would stick to the OEM ones. There have been several threads regarding this and they vary on opinion. I changed my plugs on the S4 and went with the NGK iridium plugs and the car runs great. When I change them again I am going with the OEM Bosch ones.

 

I'm not so sure the OEM plugs are Bosch, I always thought they were NGK Iridium. I'll double check what I have on my 2.0T but I most certainly have NGK Iridums on my A6 that were purchased from the dealer.

Regardless, best spark plugs for your engine are direct replacement OEM plugs if your engine is stock. If you have done heavy modifications only then should you switch to a plug that is best suited for your engine's performance range.

 

I run NGK BKR6E @ 0.028-0.030" gap
