New member here and first post ! In the market for used A4 quattro with a budget of $25-30K. I've found a one owner 2.0 T S Line Quattro, black on black, auto with 60K km, 17" wheels with newish all season tires. Not sure what option packages were available back then, but fairly sure it does not have any options beyond sunroof and bluetooth. Car is in great cond. considering the mileage, but does have it's share of fine scratches and a few small dings. Any ideas on fair market value would be welcome. Thanks !!

well i believe the 2006/2007/2008 are all the same car
So you could expand your search beyond just an 08
you may save some money on an 07 with similiar km's

For 25-30 the 08 should be mint with a CPO warranty
Check pfaff on aurora ontario. They have one in their showroom for 28k

 

Thanks for yor reply. The car I'm looking at is a private sale asking $24,900. I'd say it's in very good cond., but not mint and the mileage is a little on the high side. Anything I've seen at dealers, for 08's, are mostly over $32K ! Even some 07 2.0T's are over $30 which seems crazy high to me. I checked Pfaff's website but didn't see the car you're referring to. Any other opinions on pricing of 07-08 2.0T quattros ??

 

That's seems like a very low price. Buy with your heart, after you check with your brain.

 

I find that trader.ca can give you the best information on what is available...
Any almost always the sticker price on the dealer stuff is higher - but you might get some more movement on price out of those ones.

Thanks for everyone's input. I actually just put in an offer on the car I posted about above. I went to see it on Monday and was impressed with the condition, service history and test drive. I should know tomorrow if it's a go or if it's back to the hunt !.... don't mind the hunt though, it's half the fun !
