Hey y’all!
Im new to this forum and I just moved to VA (first Duty station) from Texas and the wife and I are looking for a second car. I found a great deal on an 2008 Audi A4 Quattro 2.0T for $4500( I talked him down to $4000). It has 108,000 miles, really clean, just a few minor things, but I don’t think the water pump and timing belt have not been replaced and some other maintainer items may need looked at. There is a little oil/grease build up around valve cover, but the car drove great and sounded good. I did pull car fax and it’s had 3 owners(most recent is the dealer), it been in 3 accidents and it says that structural damage was reported. Lastly there is a recall for the passenger airbag on this vehicle. I don’t mind wrenching on the car myself, and I have seen some good resources and videos on replacing certain items. Is this something I should stay clear from or is it worth it at this price or should I shoot for a lower price? Any info would greatly help!! Thank you!!
