Default New brake question

Hey guys I am planning to change the brake pads and rotors my self, and I was just wondering if I have to add brake oil after that or not I understand I will have to press the piston to allow for the new thickness of the new pads but to press you increase the brake line pressure my question is where the pressure go, do I have to open the brake fluid reservoir to release it, and if I open it that mean I will loss fluid, sorry for my Dum question it’s my first time, however I always think it’s an easy job for DIY, thanks for any help.
