Well, I ran over a pot hole earlier and my tire went flat and I had to change it. I just wanted to know if anyone has a recommendation of where I should get the tire repaired. Also I broke the center cap when I tried to put it back on the wheel after I replaced the tire and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of where I can get a new one other then the dealer. They are trying to charge me 50 for one cap and 100 for all 4.

Yeah, that's exactly what I did and I came up with no results so I just bought it from the dealer when they replaced my tires..... Now I'm in combat with the city of Toronto because I want them to reimburse me for my tires (Or at least just the front two.... HAHA)

 

hey... let us know how that turns out... is the city actually supposed to pay for it?

 

If you abuse them long enough, have pictures of the pothole and keep nagging, you'll get reimbursement. Maybe not the full amount but it'll help.

This is why I hate driving this time of the year, so many new potholes have sprung up.

Yeah, they actually are suppose to reimburse you. I've already gotten a response from city hall and my claim has been forwarded to their insurance company who is review everything. Hopefully things go in my favour!

 

No kidding, I felt like I was driving some kind of slalom on the way to work today. Usually i'm good with remembering all the potholes in my area as i drive the same roads frequently but so many new ones are appearing its ridiculous

 

It's weird because it's not even that bad out... I wonder how the city will deal with road repairs as they never have any money...
