Hello all, I'm new here and bought my 08 a4 in may, just wondering if anyone knows what the factory adaptive HID brightness is, I wanted to change my fog lights to HID, but wanted them to match my headlights. Thanks

 

Don't know the exact spec but would say 4300K as that is the industry norm for HID bulbs. Anything higher is pretty much acknowledged as folks going for looks rather than optimal illumination.

I went with 6000k hid bulbs in my fogs and they are a lot more blue, I kind of like it and stuck with it.

 

That's what I ended up ordering, they wouldn't ship the 4300 to me
