Finally Lowered (Lots of Pics)
Setup:
- Koni FSD Shocks
- Eibach Pro Springs
- 19x8.5 VMR V710 et35
- 245/35/19 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo
Impressions:
Love the ride height (although it should still settle a bit), it's low enough to look good (IMO) but high enough to still be drivable and have no rubbing issues. The ride is very similar to OEM sport suspension, maybe a little harsher but not by very much. Handling is absolutely great, a whole lot less body roll in the corners and the car just has a sense of stability to it now. The setup may not be the best for the track but for an aggressive daily driver, it's absolutely perfect.
Future Plans for the Car:
- Clear Corner
- 8mm Rear Spacers
- Paint Calipers
Now on to the pics

WOW! looks really awesome! hows the tires? im actually looking at those exact same ones and a different sumitomo tires. tho im going to use ibach pro kit springs to drop it 1.25". i couldnt find Autobahn rims in 19's... so i had to order 18's. congrats by the way!!!
Thanks. The Hankooks have been awesome for me so far, a huge step up from the P6's that came stock on my car.
Did you replace your exhaust tips with chrome ones? Just curious as I have a B7 also (2006) and mine are quite dark now. My detailer friend says they can't be cleaned to be shiny again.
there is an acid based industrial clean that you can spray on for a min and then wash off and most of it will come off. then get some good dish gloves and a rag and wet the rag with the clean and scrub the rest off. it does work tho. i'm gonna be gettin some of my buddy this week to do my exhaust tips as well.
Nope they're stock. About once a month though, I clean them thoroughly and use a metal polish to keep em' looking good.
